Business as usual – well almost!
Dear patients. It continues to be business as usual for us after the fire at the surgery last week….well almost!
We hope to have more power by the end of this week, so we can have more clinical rooms back in operation at Brook Lane.
Until then, we continue to use rooms at Lockswood Surgery and Fareham Community Hospital.
No appointments or clinics are being cancelled and offering a fairly normal service to our patients – apart from the location, if it is face-to-face.
he water supply to the building is very limited and that won’t change for the foreseeable future. So we continue without heating and without hot water, which is obviously challenging for our staff. But our team continues to be completely amazing and working in conditions that are far from ideal.
If you could bear that in mind, we would be grateful. We would also once again like to thank you for your understanding and ongoing support.
And please remember - unless our staff have already contacted you with other arrangements, patients who already have appointments should still come to Brook Lane, although you may get redirected; and patients who want to make appointments should still ring our usual number.

This website has been designed to inform you of the services available from the surgery and how you can obtain them. We trust that you will find it helpful and informative.
|Each patient who uses eConsultation will receive a request via email to complete a survey regarding their experience of this service seven days after their eConsultation. This email survey will come from the eConsult provider not Brook Lane Surgery.
Please Note: This service is intended for our patients who are 18 or over and in the UK at the time of using e-Consult – and not those who are overseas for any reason.
The practice regrets that it cannot offer telephone or email consultations to patients who are outside of the UK, and for legal reasons we are not in a position to deal with any clinical issues involving patients who are abroad. If you are travelling abroad, you should ensure that you have adequate medical/travel insurance. In the event that you require medical assistance, you should seek a local service and inform your insurance company as appropriate.
On return from your travels, please do not hesitate to contact the surgery if you need further assistance and bring any relevant medical information relating to the episode with you.
